I experienced severe muscle pain in my shoulder and upper arms after using Tobradex for several days. I stopped the medication and the pain subsided. After two weeks I started using Tobradex again and two days later the pain began again. It was relieved quickly with Ibuprofen. Apparently severe muscle pain--like having sprained a muscle-- is a side effect of Tobradex.
