I have been on 40 mg daily for over a year, and it has gotten my BP down to near normal. I am a 70 yr old male, otherwise healthy. My symptoms came on so gradually, almost unnoticeable. It has gotten to the point that I can t walk from the car to a store without almost passing out. I have no energy at all, want to stay home and do nothing. After reading this site, I stopped my Lisinopril as of yesterday morning. I realize that missing one day is no big deal, but already I feel better. I have resorted to Grandma's recipe of two TSPS of cider vinegar in my tomato juice in the morning and NO Isinopril. I have concluded that a BP of 140/72 is the best I can do. My pulse rate has dropped from 85 to 64 in just ONE day. I am impressed.
