I have used NuvaRing for just about 4 years and for the most part it's been a positive experience. I love not having to remember to take a pill everyday, and my period is lighter and regular. I have gained quite a bit of weight, but (1) I expected this when I started B/C again and (2) I have to admit my activity level is down and I don't watch what I eat as well as I should. Also, I have never had a problem in the sun before. I've hardly ever even burned. It didn't occur to me until the SECOND time I got a rash sun poisoning when on a beach vacation that it was due to the NR.
