I have been on Lisinopril for 3 years now. Since this time I have extreme fatigue, racing heart,a cough at night, hair loss and aching joints. I am a 49 year old female.
I want to warn people to NOT try and wean yourself off the med.
I did-------------for just 2 days. This morning I went to work ---------- I work construction-----I had to go lay in the back of my car. My heart was beating so hard and fast. I was shaking and felt out of it. I couldnt concentrate-I thought I was going to die in the backseat of my car. I had to have someone bring me my Lisinopril and drive me home. I called my Dr and he was out of town but he told me to come in on Monday and continue to take my med.
I am going to take it but I am looking for a Dr who is interested in helping me get off of the Lisinopril. If anyone has found a replacement with no side effects please let me know.
