I have been off a 7 day taper for about 26 days now (NOT LIKE I'M COUNTING OR ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!) and I am STILL struggling with the side effects - but they are getting better. Try drinking LOTS of water - for me taking a magnesium supplement helped slow my heart rate down.

I am still getting headaches, head pressure - and B/P SPIKES, I have to go to my Dr. because I cannot get my B/P back under control - it is ridiculously HIGH. I am also still suffering from dizziness off and on and weird black spots in front of my eyes - again off and on.

I hope within the next two weeks all side effects final go away completely - I also pray that I never have to take it again....

I am so glad to hear that I'm not going crazy. I had to take today off of work. I am so dizzy, sore and tired. I was on 60mg of prednisone for 1 month then down to 40mg for 2 weeks then 20 mg for 2 weeks then 10 mg for 2 weeks and than 5 mg for 2 weeks. I am on my second week on 5mg and I am so tired and my head hurts. I am so tired of going to the doctor and having him tell me that everything is okay. I was diagnoised with minimal change disease. So I take high blood pressure medicine along with potassium, because of the lasix. This might be too much information but I really thought it was in my head. Hope you all are having a better week then I.
