I used in the past Flonase and worked. This time, I used the "generic" by other laboratory. I used it only once. Developed a headache, felt virus-like symptoms and blisters on my lips. The most uncomfortable side effect ... 12 days and counting, everything with an aroma (or smell), smells the same, like some chemical. Even coffee, food. Have not used it again but side effects continue. Have tried saline spray to clean nostrils ... nothing has worked. Just wait??

I also have used Flonase after antibiotics and OTC meds did not give relief from "sinus infection" or really bad allergies. After 2 days of Flo. I lost my sense of smell and taste and developed blood/metal taste/smell. Even after 3 weeks of being off Flo.- still no smell or taste. Also used saline spray - no real relief. Has anyone found anything that really works? I haven't slept a good night's sleep or had a normal day at work w/o using up a whole box of Kleenex in 12 weeks. Anyone tried an ENT? or an allergist?(I really don't want to go through poke-testing)

Look up Neti Pot on the internet. We got ours at a health food store, but I think even Walmart has them. They flush everything out really well.
