I have used flonase for several years now. It is apparent to me that I have lost my sense of smell. I know that Zicam is being sued for a side effect that causes the loss of sense of smell. Has anyone else experienced this with Flonase?

Yes! I can't believe you tolerated Flonase for that long. I used it for 2 days and lost both sense of smell and taste. Even after 3 weeks off Flo. - still no smell or taste. Also developed blood/metal taste/smell that is very annoying - in addition to my quality of life is reduced because food/smells are no longer enjoyable! Still have nasal problems. No relief. Anyone tried any meds that actually help chronic allergic rhinitis w/o nasty side-effects?
