Heart pains symptoms and conditions

Wow. I am glad I came across this site. I have been having weird headaches, heart pains/palpitations, mild nausea, and pains in my limbs. I felt crazy for going to my doctor about so many different things, but I have been on Yaz for three months now and have just "not felt right" for a while.
I spent 4 hours in the hospital today trying to figure out what was wrong with me, and they said everything turned up perfectly fine, but I STILL DON'T FEEL GOOD at all. So Thanks to this I have decided to quit taking the pill to see if i feel any better. I am shocked at how dangerous of a drug this appears to be. Thank you everyone.

Mirena is the worst decision I have made as far as a contraceptive. I have been hospitalized because of heart pains assuming heartburn since all turned out fine) then one month exactly I had heart burns again. I have had the Mirena since 3/08 and have an appt tomorrow to have it removed. I'm going back to my birth control this is just awful. When I went to my doctor one month ago he felt the heart pains isn't related to the Mirena and suggest I keep it since I was at my 6 month stage. I said ok, and here it is approx 1 month later and I still HATE IT!!!. I have lower back pain, mood swings and awful pain during intercourse. One night I couldn't even move that's how bad my bu** was aching it felt like that little Mirena was coming out my bu**(sorry for being graphic). We all need to complain to this company and like another woman said print all of this for our doctor. I wish everyone the best of luck and I hope all is well w/ my uterus. I have been taking LIPITOR for about 1.5 years and have been feeling the cotton head but thought it was allergies. for about 8 months or so I have been feeling pain on the left side of my chest and upper back by the shoulder plates. I've told my doctor and had several tests done incl. MRI, C-scan, etc. Once I even had to go to the emergency room thinking I was having a heart attack. But the doc. said the EKG was normal and that it might be muscular. I have not read that anyone else is having the chest symptoms. This is very scary to me. Lately I feel my neck getting stiff and I am also constantly tired and keep waking up at night and have a hard time going back to sleep. I don't seem to have the arm or leg pains that most people here seem to be suffering from but am now convinced it's LIPITOR since it is the only prescription medicine I am taking. I would appreciate hearing from someone who has had the same symptoms I've described above. I stopped taking Lipitor about 4 days ago and do feel already less tired but the upper body pain is still present.

Started taking Lisinopril three weeks ago. WOW! This stuff is interesting at best. My blood pressure did come down... but so low i was fainting. i was in bed for the first two days. felt like i was on deaths door. i cut my dosage in half after talking to my doctor, and was able to atleast get out of bed. BUT THE SIDE EFFECTS ARE TERRIBLE! Severe, severe, severe depression, feeling tired, weakness, heart pains, sleep loss and too much sleep at the same time (sounds funny, but i don't fall asleep 'til 3-4am then want to sleep all day). The worst for me though is the Depression! i'm the happiest guy you'd ever meet. a wonderful wife and 4yr old daughter... this drug makes me miserable.

But... the blood pressure did go down. i was 190 over 100 often for no reason. this did help... but i'll have to find something different, cause i don't want to spend my life in bed.

All you are Hypochondriacs. If one person says this medicine is causing this, then of course; you all have the same problem "some how." Isn't this weird? It is called the "placebo effect." Normally all the people involved in the testing are given "Lisinopril" (or some other drug), then the placebo group is given a vitamin supplement, the group receving the vitamin supplement is being told they are receving "Lisinopril." Mysteriously?, the "placebo group" is all feeling better and their symptoms are gone. This is due to the fact that all these people in the "placebo group" have interacted with eachother and have told eachother "I feel better" than of course everybody feels better. So WEIRD!! So, my point is this forum is all your peoples "placebo group." If you guys never heard of these side effects from this forum you would have never experinced them. Hypochondriacs all of you are. This is a very good medicine that is helping all of you make up for your peoples lack of self-disipline to control your diet or exercise enough to lower your blood pressure naturally. So be thankful. Lets not complain about false side effects because John has them. I wonder what the side-effects of that cheese burger are that caused high blood pressure. It is funny, I don't see a forum for that. So deal with your so called "side-effects" that are associsted with "Lisinopril" or go on a diet people. Get over it!!

I am on my second pack of yasmin. So far i am not really
satisfied with it because it has been nothing but a
rollercoaster, and uncertainties. I dont even feel like the pill
is working. Maybe thats just my paranoia. My side effects
have been pretty bad. First of all i smoke and i frequently get
major heart pains. (im working on quiting smoking) I have
had a very unusual and uncontrolable smelly vaginal
discharge. Even after months of no sexual intercourse. The
week that i was taking the reminder pills (during menstration)
I literally went psycho. I ended up getting fired from my job
for cursing at a kid, i threatend to move, and all of this for no
reason at all. I did use the ortho evra patch prior to the
yasmin pill and i was way more satisfied with the patch. Oh and to the woman who commented on the questioning her sexuality. I have been a homophobe for my whole life, recently i have become attracted to girls. I think it has a lot
to do with the hormones just making the libido out of control.
some women say that their sex drive has fallen, mine has
skyrocketed, just in the opposite way lol.

I have been diagnosed with ADHD,I've been on Wellbutrin SR, for one week now and started with 150mg, This week I am to double my dose, I feel light headed all the time, a little lack of sleep and small headaches that move around, fade in and out alot.also Heart Pains now and then too. I've had alcohol and my Dr. said it would be o.k in moderation, when the instructions say not to, So i'll stop. I don't want a seizure. I'm in school and i'm not sure I should be testing this now, as i HAVE TO PASS, all i need is help with attention, not really depression, my question is should I be on this now or at all, what can i expect in the future, and are holistic alternatives good or better? Is it safe to excersize or will i get a heart attack at 23---PLEASE ANY INFO IS APPRECIATED.

Its me again. Well, just to tell you that I thought that I felt fine whilst I was taking Jasmin for the two years. But my poor husband had to put up with a very depressed and anxious wife with no libido at all. Last year, was our worst year of 11 years marriage ever, we nearly divorced because I was so depressed with absoultely no reason to be whatsover.
Two boys, lovely man, home, job, etc. I now feel more "alive" having stopped taking Jasmin but these heart pains are awful. Can anyone post how long these pains last for on average? Three months, Six months? I had them last month and then they eased off towards the end of the month and now they have come back again everyday and sometimes with a very slight ache in my left arm. I've never felt so fragile. I know my GP will say it is "stress", which seems to be the answer to everyone on this site, and its not true. Any comments would be great.

Sharp, intense heart pains, dizziness, and nausea

Okay, After reading this maybe I am not all that crazy. I really like Yasmin, has done great with my face and slowly my periods, but I do experience the extreme moodiness. I feel as though everyone is out to get me and I snap back. Not sure if I am going to discontinue use, but I am going to talk to my OBGYN. I have not experienced any heart pains or hair loss (lets cross our fingers).
